First of all, I want to express my most sincerely congratulations to you for this incredible software. I am an adult who I struggled during the time when there was very little known about dyslexia. I speak two languages Spanish and English. There are days I can write better in Spanish and there are days I can speak better in English and vice versa. I do many evaluations of assistive tech with students and often use WordQ when the student has either written expression difficulties with reading or spelling or when there are physical problems that slow the production. The student I am currently working with has amazed me with his learning and use of WordQ.

The first time I showed him the program he took to it immediately and learned most of the options and how to make it work best for him. Within a half hour he was comfortable and telling me how it was going to be useful for him  He is in 6th grade. Since all the students have their own computer he uses it daily and in almost every class and is no different than his peers. His teachers report that he opens WordQ as soon as he boots his computer each day and uses it for everything either with the word prediction or reading option. He uses it in Moodle classes, documents, Internet reading, etc.

He has helped trouble shoot things over the trial period and kept his cool when things did not work well for a few days. I have told him repeatedly that he is a WordQ poster child. His teachers as well as he himself report that he is using larger vocabulary, doing better on all his written work and has become much more confident as a student. He can finally show that he is an intelligent student without the writing problems interfering.
