WordQ makes smart word suggestions with every letter you type. See and hear examples for similar sounding words or select from words with the same meaning.

  • Hear what you write

A high quality voice speaks everything you type so you can hear any spelling or grammar issues that you may not see. Listen to proofread your work.

  • Read by listening

Have your favorite website read to you. Hear instant-messages, Facebook or Twitter. Wherever you can highlight text, WordQ will read it back to you.

WordQ:

  • Learns which words you like and predicts them faster
  • Predicts words even if they are spelled creatively or missing parts
  • Offers a list of words with similar meaning to add variety to your writing
  • Uses clear and pleasant spoken feedback
  • Gives examples for words that sound similar by using them in a sentence
  • Reads aloud any text you can highlight, including websites, emails and instant-messaging
  • Reads exactly what you write, so poor grammar sounds off and bad punctuation disrupts the rhythm
  • Helps only as much as you need with functions that easily turn on or off
  • Lets you modify word prediction to use specific vocabulary or topics
  • Works with all commonly-used programs
  • Now includes English, French, Spanish and German*

Did you know:

1. Auto learn new words as you type
WordQ does auto learns correctly spelled new words as you type but will
not auto learn potentially misspelled words. WordQ checks an unknown/new
word against a larger background dictionary
and if spelled correctly automatically adds that word to the user's
vocabulary. If unknown, that word is saved separately for review for later
optional manual addition to the vocabulary.

2. Existing topic dictionaries
WordQ allows unlimited number of topic lists to be created.

3. Bilingual dictionary
WordQ includes English, French, Spanish and German
dictionaries/vocabularies/voices. WordQ enables a user to
have multiple language "personalities" and vocabularies.

4. Flexible spelling/Phonetic substitutions/Common letter
confusions/Letter reversals/Letter doubling
WordQ does allow for flexible or creative spelling in its word
suggestions. It considers multiple factors
including phonetics, missing/confused/doubled/reversed letters, and
mistyping.

5.      Includes homophones and confusables
WordQ provides usage examples to help the student reduce mistakes with
homophones and confusable words.

6.      Display prefixes
WordQ was designed intentionally to not show prefixes or suffixes so that
students can use the speech feedback to hear complete words rather than
two partial words and put them together.

7.      Change Font color
WordQ was designed to automatically change with system-wide accessibility
settings, including font colors and background colors, which are required
to be properly set for someone with any visual issues, thus individual
color settings which may get confused with system settings are not
included.

8.      Control line spacing between words
WordQ adjusts the line spacing between words in its prediction list
automatically for highest readability while maintaining simplicity and ease-of-use.

9.     Abbreviation-expansion
       WordQ 3 includes abbreviation-expansion
